We are looking for highly motivated, curious individuals to help continue with our growth and continued success, could you be the newest member of our team?
· Do you have a proven track record of keeping engineering teams on track within a growing company?
· Do you have experience of building and maintaining engineering road-maps?
· Do you know the semiconductor industry inside and out?
· Can you skilfully manage multiple projects delivering highly complex technology to the world’s leading edge customers?
Agile Analog is revolutionising the way Analog circuits are designed. Based in Cambridge but with the ability to work in a hybrid manner, we are growing quickly to become one of the world’s leading semiconductor IP companies. Using our innovative core technology, we are able to design circuits faster, to a higher quality, and on any silicon process.
We are disrupting methodologies that have been unchanged for generations and if you have that similar mindset with the desire to make an impact then we welcome you to be part of our story.
This is not a traditional Project Manager role but rather requires you to take the lead across multiple projects to dynamically optimise our resource allocations, focus, and priorities - delivering maximum value. Leading from the front and utilising strong reciprocal relationships with our engineering teams you will manage multiple semiconductor IP developments and delivery projects on time, to cost, and within schedule.
What you will be doing:
· Working with Engineering and other Project Managers to constantly achieve the optimum development rate across our entire project portfolio
· Ongoing analysis of project key metrics
· Working with the heads of engineering to ensure that projects run smoothly to time and scale
· Helping to develop improved and more efficient methods and flows
· Hosting regular meetings with project teams to review progress and issues, ensuring that issues are addressed in a timely manner
· Tracking and reporting project schedule and risks, both within the project team and with senior management
· Tracking resource loading and highlighting gaps to management
· Liaising with suppliers, partners and customers
What we need from you:
· Hands on experience of technical project management, either in a semiconductor or a software environment, enabling you to understand exactly how our project teams work, and what our end customers need
· Solid project management experience successfully managing complex projects, delivering to schedule, quality, and functionality and handling and retiring risks
· Solid communication, teamwork, influencing and leadership attributes. We need someone who can work credibly with experienced technical teams on challenging schedules, this is not a status reporting role, it’s a management role
· Ability to understand and resolve conflicts, and communicate issues in a timely manner; we encourage healthy discussion
· Experienced with risk management and able to detect unstated assumptions and to then think ahead and implement mitigation plans
· Bachelors-level degree in a science or engineering subject
· Familiarity with planning tools like MS Project, collaboration & communication tools such as Confluence, and issue tracking systems would be helpful
What do we offer in return:
As well as the opportunity to work with an industry leading company and dynamic team we also offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
· A friendly, supportive and inclusive working environment
· The option to work in a hybrid manner
· Professional development and professional society membership
· 25 days’ annual leave
· Company pension scheme (with a salary sacrifice option)
· Private health insurance (including optical and dental cover)
