Software Engineer- Data

Our platform wraps and extends industry standard tools to bring the techniques of modern software engineering and data science to a field that has seen only modest change in the last decade.

What we need from you:

· Agile software development – Proven experience writing code in a production environment, probably for a desktop, cloud or embedded environment.

· A strong analytical approach - probably with a background in mathematics or computer science. This role will be focussed on building datasets efficiently and then writing algorithms to consume them.

· Communication skills - within your team and across to other teams, in person and through documentation. It is essential we can bring others in to deliver and advocate for our work.

· Python - our primary codebase is in Python so familiarity would be ideal. However, python is easy to learn if you are already an expert in another language.

Even better if you have experience with:

· Tools for data analytics such as Pandas or Spark.

· Mathematical modelling such as MATLAB, Mathematica or equivalent.

· Formal testing of software.

· EDA tools used for designing new microchips. We integrate with the industry standard products and tools extensively.

· Basic electronic engineering to enable effective communication with our users
